It can be painful to know that your girlfriend is with someone else. Day and night you wrack your brain to try to figure out what you can do to get her back. Maybe you have even taken the advice of some well meaning friends or family members and tried to get her back already.

Have you tried talking to her about your problems hoping to come to some sort of resolution? Have you tried appealing to her logical side to get her back? To begin with, as painful as it is to know that your girlfriend is with another guy, chances are their relationship will not work out. Rebound relationships have a very high failure rate. As a matter of fact, right now if you are calling her or trying to contact her on a regular basis that might be one of the major things holding them together. So while you are thinking that you can break them up your attempts to win her back are only driving them together.

As time goes on their relationship will grow more familiar and stale. Just like most relationships, familiarity breeds contempt and it won’t be long before she realizes that her new guy has bad habits also and he isn’t perfect. In time also, all the bad memories from your relationship will fade and only the happy memories will remain. Given some time things will actually begin to reverse and you will be the one that she comes to when he starts getting on her nerves.

The trick is to set yourself up in such a way in her life that you are there when things begin to fall apart with her and her new guy. Keep your foot in the door just enough so she knows that you’re still around yet make her wonder if you’re still around for her. Create a veil of mystery about you that will keep her guessing and make her want to find out what is going on with you.

Given enough time and the right amount of tension you will begin to see a change in her. Make her wonder enough and a woman, just like a curious cat, will want to know what’s going on in your life. Take this advice to heart and you will be on the right track to getting her back.
